  • There will be a Coffee Hour after worship today, February 18 in the over flow room. 

  • Today, February 18 is the deadline to submit information for the March 2018 newsletter.  The March 2018 newsletter will be passed out next Sunday, February 25. 

  • CLICK will meet this evening, February 18 from 4 pm-5:30 pm. 

  • Lenten Focus:  The Psalms.  During the season of Lent, we will be studying the Psalms.  In addition to weekly sermons on the Psalms, we are going to be reading through the Psalms as a congregation.  Bookmarks with the daily reading guide are available on the table in the Narthex (entrance).  Also, a few large coloring posters are available to families who wish to participate as a family in focusing on the Psalms.  A weekly discussion group on the Psalms will meet Monday and Wednesday from 10 am-11 am at the MOCO House.  In addition, a very helpful (but not necessary) resource that will inform our discussion and reading is “Christ in the Psalms” by Patrick Henry Reardon.  It is available for $16 from Pastor Nathan or online at christianbook.com    

  • 4G Bible Study will meet Monday, February 26, 6:30 pm at MOCO House. 

  • Presbytery meeting Tuesday, February 27, 6:30 pm at Grove City College, Grove City, PA. 

  • Mohawk Area Women’s Association will meet Friday, March 2, 10 am at MOCO House.  Brunch will be served at 10 am with a program to follow.  The meeting is open to any and all women in the Mohawk Area.  Please bring a friend with you.

  • The Annual Congregational meeting is today, January 28 immediately following worship.  The congregation at that time will vote to receive the 2017 financial reports and approve the 2018 Pastoral Terms of Call.

  •  4G Young Adult Bible Study will meet Monday, January 29, 6:30 pm at MOCO House.

  • Next Sunday, February 4 is Super Bowl Sunday.  We would like everyone to bring a can of soup for Project HOPE.

  • Today, December 31 is the last day to contribute to the Evangelism and Mission Committee  collection of the Christmas offering for Feedmysheep in New Castle, PA.  FeedMysheep is housed in an old church and their utility bills for the winter tend to be very high and difficult to pay. We are supporting a collection to help relieve some this financial stress for this coming winter. 

  • Today, December 31 is the last day for gifts to be recorded for the year 2017 statement is due by the close of worship. 

  • The Deacons will meet this Wednesday, January 3 at 6:00 pm.

  • The Annual Calendar Planning meeting will be held this Wednesday, January 3, 6:15 pm.  All committee chairs and activity presidents are invited to attend.

  • The Session will meet this Wednesday, January 3 at 7:00 pm.

Thank You

A big Thank You to the Ladies and Gentlemen who helped spread love and joy at Feed My Sheep this past week.  The work crew from Bessemer Church organized clothing, toys and other gifts for the Annual Christmas Give Away on Saturday, December 16.  They helped supervise the giveaway and handed out hot dogs.  The clients as well all the staff at Feed My Sheep really did appreciate all the volunteer help.   • CHRISTMAS FOR HOPEThis year our Church Family will be giving Christmas joy to two families within our community.  Ruth Ann Herman will be taking care of the purchasing of the needed gifts.  Please consider donating soon so she will have time to shop.  All donations must be in by December 3 and the gifts will be given out on December 8.

  • Today, October 15 all money, reservations and unsold tickets must be returned to Roberta Gibson for the Ham Loaf Dinner.  Our Ham Loaf Dinner will be held this Saturday, October 21 from 5-7 pm.  Everyone’s help and efforts are needed to make this a success.  All donations (Accept pies and cakes) need to be here by this Thursday, October 19.  The proceeds of the dinner will benefit the General Fund.
