Today is the deadline to submit information for the November 2016 newsletter. The November 2016 newsletter will be passed out next Sunday, October 30.
4G Bible Study will meet Monday, October 24, 6:30 pm at MOCO House.
The Mission/Evangelism Committee is collecting items for Operation Christmas Child. The following items are needed for the month of October: school supplies, pencils, pens, rulers, erasers, small note pads, crayons, and small coloring books. Please put your donations in the red bin under the MISSION Bulletin Board in the entry way. Thank you.
Deacons will meet on Wednesday, November 2 at 6 pm.
Mohawk Area Women (men, non-church members also included) will hold our fall meeting on Friday, November 4, at MOCO House. Brunch will begin at 10:00 am followed by a program featuring Captain Christopher Williams from the Salvation Army, at 10:30 am. You are asked to bring a gift for the Salvation Army Christmas drive if you wish to contribute. Gifts for teen boys are especially needed. Ax15 spray and sports items have been suggested.
Session will meet on Monday, November 7 at 7 pm.
Our Ham Loaf Dinner will be held Saturday, November 12 from 5-7 pm. Everyone’s help and efforts are needed to make this a success. There is two yellow sign-up sheets on the narthex table one for donations and the other for Helpers. If you are able to donate and/or help please sign the sheet with your name and donation, all donations (Accept pies and cakes) need to be here by Thursday, November 10.
Mt. Jackson Church Fall Bible study on Sunday’s-10/30, 11/6, and 11/20 from 6 pm.-7:30 pm. They will do a series on: The Reason for God. How could a loving God send people to Hell? Why does he allow suffering? Can one religion be right and others wrong? We will affirm that our Christian faith is a sound rational belief as we tackle these questions and others.
- Bessemer Mohawk Rotary Club Spaghetti Dinner is today, October 23 from 11:30 am-2 pm at Mohawk H.S. Cafeteria. The cost is Adults $9.00 and Children (under 12) $4.50. Tickets can be purchased from Karen Hutch or Sally Cunningham.
