HUNGER RELIEF IN SOUTH SUDAN: Today, September 4 is the final day that the Sudan Collection will be received. We have learned from our friends visiting from Juba, South Sudan that over 40% of the South Sudanese have no food. The recent violence plus poor weather conditions for growing crops add to this problem. A warehouse of UN food relief supplies was broken into and food stolen. Shenango Presbytery is sponsoring a project to collect money to send to hunger relief through the South Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church. This money will be sent along with donations from other churches in the Presbytery on September 28, 2016. PLEASE consider donating to help in a small way for God's people in a devastating situation.
