Announcements  

  • Today is Project HOPE Sunday!  The following items are needed for Project HOPE: Canned Soup and Crackers or any other nonperishable items are welcomed.  Monetary donations are also accepted; please make checks payable to Project HOPE Food Bank, and give to our HOPE Representative:  Ruth Ann Herman.
  •   Session will meet Monday, September 12 at 7:00 pm.

  •   Mary Kay Leslie will be giving a Norwex demonstration in the Fellowship Hall on Tuesday, September 13 at 7 pm.  Come and learn how you can clean your home with just water.  The entire congregation and friends are welcome.  

  • PW Gathering will meet Wednesday, September 14 at 7 pm.  The executive board will meet at 6:30 pm.  Pam Thiry will be our guest speaker from Feed My Sheep.  We will be collecting Hygiene Products (Shampoo, Soap, Deodorant, etc.) and also Cleaning Products) for Feed My Sheep.  Social is Sally Martin.

  • The deadline to submit information for the October 2016 newsletter is next Sunday, September 18.  The October 2016 newsletter will be passed out on Sunday, September 25.

  • You are cordially invited to join members of the Mission & Evangelism Committee as they travel to the south side of New Castle, to feedMysheep on Wednesday, September 21.  We will unpack and sort donated clothing for their Heaven Sent program.  We will start at about 10 a.m. and go as long as needed that day.  Maybe we can even stop for coffee or lunch!  We do need to let them know how many are coming, so please let Nikki, Eric, Dorothy or Betsy know if you will join us for fellowship and service to one of our mission projects.  Thank you!

  • Presbyterian Women:  The Women’s Spiritual Retreat is Thursday, September 22 from 9 am-2 pm at North Liberty Presbyterian Church in Grove City, PA.  Registration forms are available on the narthex table. Reservation deadline is Thursday, September 15.

  • 4G Bible Study will meet Monday, September 26, 6:30 pm.

  • Presbytery meeting on Tuesday, September 27, 6:30 pm at Camp Crestfield in Slippery Rock, PA.

  • The Mission/Evangelism Committee is collecting items for Operation Christmas Child. The collection will continue throughout the year with every 3 months having a different designated item requested.  The following items are needed for the month of SEPTEMBER:  school supplies, small notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, stickers, pencil sharpeners, erasers, and pencil boxes.  Please put your donations in the red bin under the MISSION Bulletin Board in the entry way.  Thank you.

  • Mt. Jackson Church will do a Fall Bible study on Sunday’s, 9/18, 10/2, 10/16, 10/30, 11/6, and 11/20 from 6 pm.-7:30 pm.  They will do a series on:  The Reason for God.  How could a loving God send people to Hell? Why does he allow suffering? Can one religion be right and others wrong? We will affirm that our Christian faith is a sound rational belief as we tackle these questions and others.

  • Enon Presbyterian Church Woman's Association Annual Basement Sale is this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 15-17 from 9 am to 3 pm daily.  A lunch counter and bake sale will also be available.  This event is sponsored by EPC Woman’s Association.  The proceeds will benefit local, national, and international mission giving.
