  • The Loose Offering today, December 2 will go to the Deacons’ to aid in their ministry.

  • Project HOPE Christmas Project:  This year our Church Family will be giving

    Christmas joy to families within our community.  Ruth Ann Herman has already purchased the needed gifts.   All monetary donations must be in by today, December 2. 

  • Deacons will meet on Wednesday, December 5 at 6 pm.

  • Session will meet on Wednesday, December 5 at 7 pm.

  • Presbyterian Women meeting is Wednesday, December 12, 6 pm at MOCO House.  We have devotions, our meeting and fellowship.

  • Next Sunday, December 9 is Project HOPE Sunday!  The following items are needed: Peanut Butter and Jelly or any other non-perishable items are welcomed.  Monetary donations are also accepted; please make checks payable to Project HOPE Food Bank, and give to our HOPE Representative.

  • The Church Offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 and Wednesday, December 26, 2018 and also on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 and Wednesday, January 2, 2019.  The church offices will be open on Thursday, December 27, 2018 and Friday, December 28, 2018 from 9 am-12 noon!  We will resume regular hours on Thursday, January 3, 2019.

Local Happenings

  • Alpha Omega Center Night at MOCO on Tuesday, December 4 from 6 pm-8 pm.  Join us as we enjoy coffee, share about the ministry of Alpha Omega Center, Give Updates, and Answer Questions.  This is a great opportunity to learn more about this vital ministry with locations in New Castle and Slippery Rock.

  • Breakfast with Santa:  Saturday, December 8 at Mohawk Elementary School from 9 am-10:30 am.  The cost is $ 2.50 for children and $ 3.00 for adults.  Enjoy a breakfast of coffee, cocoa, orange juice, and donuts.  Your children can enjoy face painting, coloring sheets, cookie decorating and videos while waiting for Santa.  There will be a candy cane treat for every child that attends.  Baked goods, gift basket raffle tickets, and the North Beaver Civic Club cookbook will be available for purchase.  Benefits Mohawk Area Educational Programs sponsored by North Beaver Civic Club.

  • A Circle of Friends Choirs Free Christmas Concert at Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church on Saturday, December 8, 7 pm.  Benefits Lawrence County Backpacking Program through a free will offering.   Light refreshments will be served.  This program provides a backpack full of nutritious and non-perishable food for over 490 Lawrence County school children to take home each weekend.  For some children, this will be the only food they will have to eat until they return to school.

  • “O Come, All Ye Faithful-A Musical Celebration of Christmas” on Sunday, December 16, 6:30 pm at Poland Presbyterian Church.This event is directed by Steve Pridon.Donations received will benefit the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.Refreshments will be served.

Important Information   for 2019

  • Attention Treasurers:  Please turn your Financial Reports and Books into the church office by Sunday, January 6, 2019.

  • Church Treasurer Books Audited:  The church treasurer’s books will be audited the week of January 7-13, 2019.

  • The Annual Reports:  The Annual Reports will be passed out on Sunday, January 20, 2019.

  • Annual Congregational Meeting:  The Annual Congregational meeting is Sunday, January 27, 2019.  The congregation at that time will vote to receive the 2018 financial reports and approve the 2019 Pastoral Terms of Call.
