Lenten Focus: The Psalms. During the season of Lent, we will be studying the Psalms. In addition to weekly sermons on the Psalms, we are going to be reading through the Psalms as a congregation. Bookmarks with the daily reading guide are available on the table in the Narthex (entrance). Also, a few large coloring posters are available to families who wish to participate as a family in focusing on the Psalms (and the posters will be displayed each week during worship). Pastor Nathan will also lead a weekly discussion group on the Psalms we are reading during Lent. In addition, a very helpful (but not necessary) resource that will inform our discussion and reading is “Christ in the Psalms” by Patrick Henry Reardon. It is available for $16 from Pastor Nathan or online at christianbook.com.
