  • PW will be supporting the 2018 Synod Mission Project Lily's Place. Lily's Place is a facility that meets the needs of Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) with a 14 room facility in Huntington West Virginia.  At the Presbyterian Women's Spring Gathering they will be having a Baby Shower collecting items for Lily's Place. The items on their Wish List are as follows: Diapers sizes 1, 2, 3, and 4, Diaper wipes, Sensory toys for infants, Dreft, Tide All-Clear Laundry Detergent, Hand Soap, Paper Towels (Rolls), Self-Seal Envelopes, Yellow Highlighters, Dry Erase Markers, and White Out. There will be a box in the Narthex for the Month of March.  We appreciate your help with this project.

  • The Loose Offering next Sunday(Easter), April 1 will go to the Deacons’ to aid in their ministry. 

  • The Deacons will meet Wednesday, April 4 at 6:00 pm.

  • The Joint Boards of Deacons and Session will meet Wednesday, April 4 at 6:30 pm.

  • The Session will meet Wednesday, April 4 at 7:00 pm.

  • CLICK will meet Sunday, April 8 from 4 pm-5:30 pm.

  • New Song, a capella singing group from Geneva College, will be presenting a concert on Sunday, April 15, 2 pm.  They will be sharing a variety of psalms set to music.  A free will offering will be taken.  We hope you will come enjoy them!

  • The following items are needed for Project HOPE: Cake Mixes, Frosting, Pudding and Jell-O, and/or any other non-perishable items are welcomed. Monetary donations are also accepted; or checks made out to Project HOPE Food Bank, and give to Ruth Ann Herman.

  • Interested in becoming a member of Bessemer Presbyterian Church?  Practically speaking, members of the church have a right to vote in congregational meetings and hold the office of elder and deacon.  Spiritually speaking, membership is an affirmation of one's faith in Jesus Christ, a commitment to living in community with one another, and a desire to participate in the life and witness of our congregation.   If you are interested in membership, please talk to Pastor Nathan.  He will provide you with information about the next steps for membership.  

  • Attention Parents and Children:  Beverly Whalen, the Instructor from The ART Barn in Enon Valley invites you to paint together to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at The Art Barn-685 Heron Dr., Enon Valley, PA.  When:  Tuesday, April 3, 6 pm-8 pm.  If you want more information on this event, please contact Beverly Whalen 724-336-3695.  The painting is called “The Three Crosses.  See our Facebook Page “The Art Barn.”

  • Bessemer Presbyterian Church is so excited to be able to offer quality, affordable and faith based Preschool to the Mohawk and surrounding areas. Mohawk Area School District Pre-Kindergarten Screening

Monday, May 14, 2018 and Tuesday, May 15, 2018

     Mohawk Elementary School will be conducting a screening for children who will be attending Kindergarten during the 2018-2018 school year.

     Please come into the Mohawk Elementary School Office between the hours of 8:30 am-3:00 pm to pick up a packet.

     Your child must be five (5) years old AS OF September 1, 2018.  You must fill the screening packet out completely and return to the office before an appointment can be scheduled for your child/children.

Holy Week

 March 25-APRil 1

Palm Sunday:  Sunday Light at 9:30 am followed by Divine Worship at 10:45 am.  MACA Choir Festival,     3 pm at Westfield Church.   

Mohawk Church Association Holy Week Services will be held at Mount Jackson Church, 6:45 am-7:15 am.

 Maundy Thursday Service:  Dinner and Worship starting at 6 pm.  Communion will be celebrated.

Good Friday Prayer Vigil:  The church will be open for private prayer and devotions from 9 am to 6 pm. 

 Good Friday Community Service at 7:00 pm.  We will begin worship at First Covenant Church and end by carrying the cross to our church. 

Children’s Easter Egg Hunt at our church from 10:00-12:00 noon. 

The Easter Vigil will be held Saturday, March 31, 8 pm at our church. 

Easter Sunday:  Sunday Light at 9:30 followed by Divine Worship at 10:45 am.  Communion will be celebrated.
