  • New Song:  A Cappella Singing Group from Geneva College,  Will be presenting a concert this afternoon, April 15, 2 pm.  They will be sharing a variety of Psalms set to music.  A free will offering will be taken!

  • Mission/Evangelism Committee will meet next Saturday, April 21, 11 am at MOCO House.
  • Church Spring Clean Up Day next Saturday, April 21, 9 am.  Items needed:  Cleaning Supplies, and Trash Bags!  If you have any questions, speak to Jay Patton.

  • The deadline to submit information for the April 2018 newsletter is next Sunday, April 22.  The April 2018 newsletter will be passed out on Sunday, April 29.

  • There will be a Coffee Hour after worship next Sunday, April 22 in the over flow room. 

  • CLICK will meet next Sunday, April 22 from 4 pm-5:30 pm. 

  • Presbytery will meet at our church on Tuesday, April 24, 6:30 pm dinner followed by meeting at 7:30. 

  • 4G Bible Study will meet Monday, April 30, 6:30 pm at MOCO House.   

  • The following items are needed for Project HOPE: Canned Vegetables, and/or any other non-perishable items are welcomed. Monetary donations are also accepted; or checks made out to Project HOPE Food Bank, and give to Ruth Ann Herman.

  • Interested in becoming a member of Bessemer Presbyterian Church?  Practically speaking, members of the church have a right to vote in congregational meetings and hold the office of elder and deacon.  Spiritually speaking, membership is an affirmation of one's faith in Jesus Christ, a commitment to living in community with one another, and a desire to participate in the life and witness of our congregation.   If you are interested in membership, please talk to Pastor Nathan.  He will provide you with information about the next steps for membership.

  • Bessemer Presbyterian Church is offering quality, affordable and faith based Preschool to the Mohawk and surrounding areas. Registrations are still available for the 2018-2019 school year.  Please speak to Mary Kay Leslie if you have a child between the ages of 3-5 years old or call the preschool 724-667-4130 and leave a message. 

  • Attention Women:  Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church are inviting us to a supper to celebrate May Day on Tuesday, May 1, 6 pm.  Come and celebrate May Day with supper and entertainment.  Wear your favorite Spring Hat and you will MAY win valuable door prizes.  Bring your best friend and you MAY participate in exciting games.  Come for food and fellowship, prizes, and surprises from the Women of Slippery Rock.  If you interested in going please contact Sally Cunningham 724-944-5407 or Roberta Gibson 724-944-6997 no later than Friday, April 27.

Local Happenings

  • Mt. Jackson Church will host a 4 week bible study on Sunday evenings, April 22-Sunday, May 13 from 6 pm-7:30 pm.  Refreshments will be served.  Any questions call Pastor Steve 724-654-9167.

  • Koinonia Gospel Team, a musical group from Grove City College, is a group dedicated to ministry through song. They will be presenting a program on Sunday, April 29, 2 pm at Westfield.

  • JAVA JOG:  Please note that Mohawk Coffee House (MoCo House) will host the annual 5K/2 mile Java Jog as one of its major fund raisers on Memorial Day. Sponsors, as well as participants, will be needed for this fun community event! Bessemer is THE place to be at 8:30 am, May 28th, before the rest of your holiday activities! More details to follow.
