Announcements 

  • Apple Dumplings must be picked up Today, October 13 from 12 noon-2 pm.

  • Rev. John Lersch and Pastor Nathan continue to lead a fall Bible study on the book of Hebrews.  We will meet tomorrow, Monday, October 14, 9:30 a.m. at MoCo House. 

  • Today, October 13 is Project HOPE Sunday!  The following items are needed for Project HOPE:  Canned Tuna, Spam, etc. or any other non-perishable items are welcomed.  Monetary donations are accepted; please make checks payable to Project HOPE Food Bank, and give to our representative:  Ruth Herman.

  • Presbyterian Women Doing without Bank envelopes will be collected today, October 13.

  • Today, October 13 is the last day for the Presbyterian Women’s Shoe Drive for Mission.

  • Presbyterian Women's Fall Gathering is next Saturday, October 19, 8:30 am at North Liberty Presbyterian Church, New Castle. Registration forms are available on the Narthex table, and must be turned in by this Tuesday, October 15 with $7 for lunch.

  • Any monetary donations given to Missions next Sunday, October 20th will go towards their dream of permanent places to worship the Lord with trained (and paid) pastors to guide them through these times of difficult economical transitions. Coffee hour will follow our service.

  • The deadline to submit information for the November 2019 newsletter is next Sunday, October 20.  The November 2019 newsletter will be passed out on Sunday, September 27.

  • 4G Bible Study will meet on Saturday, October 26, 6:30 pm.

  • All are invited to Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 27, 4-5:30 pm.  Bring a bag for all your goodies.  Dinner will be served.

  • Order are being taken for 6 oz. Frozen Homemade Ham Loaves and Sauce at a cost of $ 3.00 each.  There are three ways to place your order:  a. an order sheet is available on the narthex table, b. you can call the church office at 724-667-7255, c. you can also place the order at Mohawk Coffee House.  All Ham Loaf orders and money must be returned to Mickie Snyder no later than Sunday, October 27.  Pickup Dates:  Saturday, November 16 from 9 am-12 pm or Sunday, November 17 from 12 pm-2 pm.  The profit we make will support the Ministry of the Church!

  • Mohawk Area Women will meet Friday, November 1, 10 am at Mohawk Coffee House for our Fall meeting.  Westfield is responsible for the brunch items.  A light continental breakfast will be available at 10 am with the program to follow at 10:30 am.  Our program will be “All about Bees.”  Please come and bring a friend.  All are welcome to attend.

  •  Bessemer Mohawk Rotary Club Ziti dinner is next Sunday, October 20, 11:30 am.-2 pm at Mohawk  High Cafeteria.  Dine in or carry out.  Tickets are available from Sally Cunningham or at the door.  The  cost is:  Adults:  $10 and Children under 12:  $ 5.

  • Mohawk Autism Warriors:   Wednesday, Oct. 16, & 23 at 5:30 pm.  Oct. 16-Holiday Cards for Veterans:  Join us to make holiday cards for the veterans at the Butler VA Hospital.  Oct. 23-Lego Club.  This program is open to any individual with autism and up to two guests. 

  • Art Therapy:  Saturday, Oct. 19, 1 pm.  Join us to paint this charming winter lantern.  Plenty of time to frame it and give it as a holiday gift!  All supplies are provided, and the class is free of charge and open to all individuals.  RSVP is appreciated, please call 724-667-7939 to reserve your space.
