  • Rev. John Lersch and Pastor Nathan continues their fall Bible study on the book of Hebrews tomorrow, Monday, October 28, 9:30 am at MoCo House. 

  • Anyone still interested in placing an order for 6 oz. frozen ham loafs at a cost of $ 3.00 each, please speak to Mickie Snyder.  All Ham Loaf orders and money must be turned into Mickie Snyder today, October 27.   Pickup Dates:  Saturday, November 16 from 9 am-12 pm or Sunday, November 17 from 12 pm-2 pm.  The profit we make will support the Ministry of the Church.

  • Mohawk Area Women will meet Friday, November 1, 10 am at Mohawk Coffee House for our fall meeting.  Westfield is responsible for the brunch items.  A light continental breakfast will be available at 10 am with the program to follow at 10:30 am.  Our program will be “All about Bees.”  Please come and bring a friend.  All are welcome to attend.

  • Next Sunday, November 3 is All Saints Day and we are remembering with thanksgiving the members and friends of our church who died in the last year:  Members:  Margot Keane and Mary “Celie Tanner. 

  • Holy Communion will be celebrated next Sunday, November 3.

  • The Loose Offering will go to the Deacons’ to aid in their ministry next Sunday, November 3.

  • Deacons meeting is Wednesday, November 6 at 6:00 pm.

  • Session meeting is Wednesday, November 6 at 7:00 pm.

  • Presbyterian Women’s Shoe Drive for Mission has been extended to Sunday, November 17.

  • The following items are needed for Project HOPE:  Canned Tuna, Spam, etc. or any other non-perishable items are welcomed.  Monetary donations are accepted; please make checks payable to Project HOPE Food Bank, and give to our representative:  Ruth Herman. 

  • Feed My Sheep has requested help with providing a Christmas gift for one of their many teenagers who benefit from their annual Christmas give-a-way.  If you can, consider purchasing a $10 gift card for these teens to use (like McDonald's).  Your generosity helps bring the spirit of Christ into the lives of these kids!  Please get these to Betsy Barr or Sally Cunningham by Sunday, December 1!

 Local Happenings

  • Mohawk FBLA and the Scottish Rite Cathedral Foundation invite all the Veterans and their guests to the 21st Annual Veterans Day Program on Thursday, November 7 from 9:45 am-12 noon.  The guest speaker will be Stephen Dmetruk.  Music will be provided by the Mohawk Band and Chorus.  Light Refreshments will be served.  RSVP by Monday, November 4 by calling the Mohawk High School at 724-667-7782 Ext. 2130.
