  • Rev. John Lersch and Pastor Nathan continue to lead a fall Bible study on the book of Hebrews.  We will meet tomorrow, Monday, October 7, 9:30 a.m. at MoCo House.

  •  The Loose Offering today, October 6 will go to the Deacons’ to aid in their ministry.

  • Attention Church Members and Friends of the Church:  Join us for a Senior Saints Luncheon this Thursday, October 10 at 11 am.  A time of fellowship, food, and fun will be had by all.  Please RSVP to Tina Leslie @ 724–336-3554 and leave a message by today, October 6 if you are planning to attend.

  • Apple Dumplings will be ready for pick up next Saturday, October 12 from 10 am-12 pm or next Sunday, October 13 from 12 noon-2 pm.

  • Next Sunday, October 13 is Project HOPE Sunday!  The following items are needed for Project HOPE:  Canned Tuna, Spam, etc. or any other non-perishable items are welcomed.  Monetary donations are accepted; please make checks payable to Project HOPE Food Bank, and give to our representative:  Ruth Herman.

  • Presbyterian Women Doing without Bank envelopes will be collected next Sunday, October 13.

  • Presbyterian Women’s Shoe Drive for Mission has been extended to next Sunday, October 13.

  • The deadline to submit information for the November 2019 newsletter is Sunday, October 20.  The November 2019 newsletter will be passed out on Sunday, October 27.

  • 4G Bible Study will meet on Friday, October 25, 6:30 pm.

  • Order are being taken for 6 oz. Frozen Homemade Ham Loaves and Sauce at a cost of $ 3.00 each.  There are three ways to place your order:  a. an order sheet is available on the narthex table, b. you can call the church office at 724-667-7255,  c. you can also place the order at Mohawk Coffee House.  All Ham Loaf orders and money must be returned to Mickie Snyder no later than Sunday, October 27.  Pickup Dates:  Saturday, November 16 from 9 am-12 pm or Sunday, November 17 from 12 pm-2 pm.  The profit we make will support the Ministry of the Church!

North Beaver Fire Department Braised Steak Dinner is today, October 6, 11:30 am-2 pm at the Mount Jackson Fire Hall.  The cost is Adults-$ 13.00, Children 6-12 $ 6.00, and Children 5 and under are Free.  Dine in or carry out.

 Bessemer Mohawk Rotary Club Ziti dinner is Sunday, October 20, 11:30 am.-2 pm at Mohawk High Cafeteria.  Dine in or carry out.  Tickets are available from Sally Cunningham or at the door.  The cost is: Adults:  $10 and Children under 12:  $ 5.

Mohawk Autism Warriors:   Wednesday, Oct. 9 16, & 23 at 5:30 pm.  Oct. 9-Bingo Night, Oct. 16-Holiday Cards for Veterans:  Join us to make holiday cards for the veterans at the Butler VA Hospital.  Oct. 23-Lego Club.  This program is open to any individual with autism and up to two guests. 

Book Club:  Tuesday, Oct. 15 @ 5:30 pm.  We will be reading “In the Bleak Midwinter” by Julia Spencer-Fleming.  Call the library to reserve your copy 724-667-7939. 

 Art Therapy:  Saturday, Oct. 19, 1 pm.  Join us to paint this charming winter lantern.  Plenty of time to frame it and give it as a holiday gift!  All supplies are provided, and the class is free of charge and open to all individuals.  RSVP is appreciated, please call 724-667-7939 to reserve your space.
