    H.O.P.E. Minute for Mission

Since we are a Christian organization and Mohawk Area Church Association (MACA) is interested in donating to the organization, they have asked that each representative give some information to each church.

We are correctly helping approximately 25 families with children and 25 without children.  All families are required to attend 4 classes per year in order to receive help.  Classes have been held on CPR, Cooking/Baking, and Gardening.  We have had several ministers even give some mini services.

Meals are served at each class encouraging whole families to attend not just one person from the family.

Families with children receive back to school items in August.  At Christmas all children receive an outfit and 2 small gifts.  At Easter and Christmas all receive gift cards to Aldi’s.  Our biggest expense during the year is the Food Bank.

If anyone is interested in getting involved with HOPE in anyway, you are most welcome.

Ruth Ann Herman,  H.O.P.E. Representative of  Bessemer Pres. Church
