Announcements

  • Graduates will be recognized during our 10:00 am worship on Sunday, June 2. Please notify the church office of members graduating from High School, College, or any Higher Learning Institution by next today, May 26. Non-members will be recognized in name, so if you have a family member graduating, please inform us so that we can include them in our listing.

  •  Church retreat meeting on Tuesday, May 28 at 6 pm.

  • The Loose Offering next Sunday, June 2 will go to the Deacons' to aid in their ministry.

  • Pastor Nathan and Pastor John Lersch will be co-leading a six week Bible Study on the book of Daniel starting Monday, June 3 at 9:30 am and every Monday through July 8 at MOCO House. 

  • There is a sign-up sheet on the narthex table, so you can help with the food and supplies for the Community Picnic at Kennedy Park in Bessemer on Sunday, June 23.   

  • The following items are needed for Project HOPE: Hygiene products (toothpaste, soap, and deodorant, and shampoo) or any other non-perishable items are welcomed.  Monetary donations are also accepted; please make checks payable to Project HOPE Food Bank, and give to our HOPE Representative:  Ruth Ann Herman.

  • Presbyterian Women will meet Wednesday, June 12, 6 pm at MOCO House.  We will have devotions, fellowship and the business meeting.

  • Mohawk Area School Districts Class of 2019 Graduation is Wednesday, May 29, 7 pm at the Cathedral in New Castle.

  • The congregation is invited to a graduation party for Nicole Weingartner on Sunday, June 23 from this Friday, June 2 from 1pm-5 pm at Stone Quarry Banquet Center-4512 W. State St., Hillsville, PA.  It is located across from Sky King Fireworks.

  “Celebrating God’s

Greatest Gift”

Vacation Bible School will be held over two days this year:  Thursday, June 20 and Friday, June 21 from 4:30 pm-7:30 pm each evening.  We will also serve dinner each evening.  The closing program will be Friday, June 21 at 7:30 pm followed by an ice cream social.  This year, we will saddle up for a trailblazing weekend of fun! Kids will kick up their heels at Yee Haw VBS as they stampede through the wild frontier and celebrate the greatest truth of all--God is good!  Children who are potty-trained through age 10 are welcome to join us.

Community Picnic

A Free  Community Worship Service and Picnic will be held on Sunday, June 23 at Kennedy Park on East Poland Ave. next to the Borough Building.  Community Worship with our local churches at 10 am followed by a picnic lunch at 12:00 noon. Please come to enjoy a bite to eat, a time to talk, and some games for kids, young and old!  Bring your own chair!
