  • DON'T FORGET! We have pledged to support our South Sudan brothers and sisters in Christ in financially supporting their goals of building and sustaining churches.  Any donations given to Missions today, August 18th will go towards their dream of permanent places to worship the Lord with trained (and paid) pastors to guide them through these times of difficult economical transitions. Coffee hour will follow worship today.

  •  The deadline to submit information for the September 2019 newsletter is today, August 18.  The September 2019 newsletter will be passed out next Sunday, August 25.

  •  4G Adult Bible Study will meet Thursday, August 29, 6:30 pm at MOCO House.

  • Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday, September 1.

  • The Loose Offering will go to the Deacons’ to aid in their ministry on Sunday, September 1.

  • Deacons will meet Wednesday, September 4 at 6 pm.

  • Session will meet Wednesday, September 4 at 7 pm.

  • You are cordially invited to attend an APPLE DUMPLING ASSEMBLY PARTY!  This is such a fun event we’re having it for 2 days:  You may come either of these days or both days:  1. Saturday, September 21st from 9 am-?  2.  Wednesday, September 25th from 4 pm-?  We will supply snacks, water, and lunch/dinner!  If you have them, bring a rolling pin and pastry cutter!  You will get a bit messy and be on your feet, but it’s always a fun time!

  • FALL IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER…HAVE YOU MADE YOUR APPLE DUMPLINGS YET?  No?!  Well good!  The Evangelism and Missionary Committee is planning to run our annual fundraiser selling homemade apple dumplings.  You can buy them frozen and enjoy them whenever you desire . Pickup Dates/Times:   Saturday, October 12, 10am-12pm.   Sunday, October 13, 12pm-2pm.   We plan on selling the dumplings for: 2 dumplings for $6; 5 dumplings for $12; or 10 dumplings for $20.  The profit we make will go to our end-of-year donations and also to the South Sudan Church Planting Project.  If you would like to order some please call the church office 724-667-7255.  

  • The following items are needed for Project HOPE:  Paper Products (Kleenex, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, and Napkins) or any other non-perishable items are welcomed.  Monetary donations are also accepted; please make checks payable to Project HOPE Food Bank, and give to our HOPE Representative:  Ruth Ann Herman.

  • Presbyterian Women is conducting three different projects:  A Shoe Drive for Mission, Bags to Bed, and Pillowcase Project.  More information about these projects are on the bulletin board in the narthex.

  • Presbyterian Women will meet Wednesday, Sept 11, 6 pm at MoCo House, for devotions, fellowship and business meeting.

  • Nominating Committee will meet Wednesday, September 11, 6 pm.

  •  Presbyterian Women Doing without Bank envelopes will be passed out on Sunday, September 15 with collection date on Sunday, October 13.

  • The Giving Hands Foundation is starting their annual back-to-school sponsorship, which is a one-time donation of $20 per student to cover their uniform bottoms (pants or skirt), shoes, socks, notebooks, and pencils. Items will be delivered in September, and you would receive a delivery picture shortly after.   • Fall Worship Schedule resumes next Sunday, August 25!  9:30 am Sunday Light and 10:45 am Divine Worship.
