  • Today, we will celebrate the baptism of Tanner Dudzenski, and welcome parents, Carrie & Rick Dudzenski into membership.

  •  Today, August 11 is Project HOPE Sunday!  The following items are needed:  Paper Products (Kleenex, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, and Napkins) or any other non-perishable items are welcomed.  Monetary donations are also accepted; please make checks payable to Project HOPE Food Bank, and give to our HOPE Representative:  Ruth Ann Herman.

  • DON'T FORGET! We have pledged to support our South Sudan brothers and sisters in Christ in financially supporting their goals of building and sustaining churches.  Any donations given to Missions next Sunday, August 18th will go towards their dream of permanent places to worship the Lord with trained (and paid) pastors to guide them through these times of difficult economical transitions. Coffee hour will also follow our worship service.

  • The deadline to submit information for the September 2019 newsletter is next Sunday, August 18.  The September 2019 newsletter will be passed out on Sunday, August 25.

  • Our Summer Schedule will continue through next  Sunday, August 18.  Worship at 10:00 AM.

  • Beginning on Sunday, August 25, we will resume our Fall Schedule:  Sunday Light at 9:30 AM followed by Worship at 10:45 AM.

  • Bessemer Youth Group will meet on Sunday, August 25, 4 pm-5:30 pm.

  • 4G Adult Bible Study will meet Thursday, August 29, 6:30 pm at MOCO House.

  • Presbyterian Women will meet Wednesday, Sept 11, 6 pm at MoCo House, for devotions, fellowship and business meeting.

  • Nominating Committee will meet Wednesday, September 11, 6 pm.

  • Presbyterian Women Doing without Bank envelopes will be passed out on Sunday, September 15 with collection date on Sunday, October 13.

  • You are cordially invited to attend an APPLE DUMPLING ASSEMBLY PARTY!  This is such a fun event we’re having it for 2 days:  You may come either of these days or both days:  1. Saturday, September 21st from 9 am-?  2.  Wednesday, September 25th from 4 pm-?  We will supply snacks, water, and lunch/dinner!  If you have them, bring a rolling pin and pastry cutter!  You will get a bit messy and be on your feet, but it’s always a fun time!

  • Presbyterian Women is conducting three different projects:  A Shoe Drive for Mission, Bags to Bed, and Pillowcase Project.  More information about these projects are on the bulletin board in the narthex.

  • There is just one opening left in the BPP Church’s 3-4 year old preschool class for the 2019-2020 school year.  The child must be 3 years old by September 1 and living in the Mohawk area.  The 3-4 year old class meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 am-12 noon.  If you have a child between the ages of 3-4 years old and would like to register them, please speak to Mary Kay Leslie or  call the preschool at 724-667-4130 and leave a message.
